Week 30

Well this week has really been full of blessings that are amazing!!
first, our P-day was awesome!! we went and played a game where you take a bunch of pictures off a list of random stuff! it was so much fun! sadly, we used the sisters camera so i don't have any of the pics... sorry peeps! but ya it was super fun and we were like running around the city and having a blast!! haha
we have been working with a family named Saldaña and geez they are awesome! they are so much like dad and his bros! haha they are crazy and loud and sarcastic and just funny!  they all have a loving  caring side! the difference is they are all ladies, not a bunch of men, so its funny!  they are super loving and caring towards us! they are less actives and we are bringing them back!! its a blast! they feed us and take good care of us!!  so we have been teaching them lessons and they bring their friends, so we have new investigators too! It's an awesome blessing for us to have more souls to help along!
Monday we had an awesome FHE with the bishop in his house with a bunch of members! it was way good! my comp and i taught about the atonement of our savior and how with out him we could NEVER return to live with our father in heaven! The savior is our bridge to happiness! i hope you all can think of that and how you guys are using your saviors suffering, he did it all for YOU!! never forget that.... so the lesson was great, after we played Jenga with the blocks and ate, it was a fun time!

We had a sweet contacting experience when we were walking home one day.  we had 30 minutes before lunch and we made a goal to place a Book Of Mormon in 30 minutes! so we knocked and knocked and knocked and nothing.... but after 15 minutes we found Veronica! she accepted the book!! it was amazing, we did it!! but we had 15 minutes left! so i was like lets do it again!! so we knocked and knocked and knock and guess what?! we found Oscar!! he is a 19 yr old guy from the north of peru! he was so cool! So as we were writing down his name he asked, "can you guys come back and teach my family too?" hahahaha HECK YES WE CAN!! it was awesome! so we placed 2 in 30 minutes!  This is the blessings of goals and hard work! we have two new people that are searching for the truth and we were led right to them!! its really amazing!

Then for the highlight of the week, a BAPTISM! i will walk you through the day.....

6:00am we went to the church and cleaned the font cause it hasnt been used here in over a year! we got it ready for the day and filled it up!
then we went to work and counted down the hours!!  we were so excited! it was a slow day and really easy to get frustrated, but we didn't let that get to us! so we went and kept working!! we ate with the family Saldaña and then we went to get the church ready a bit more and guess what!? the font was dry!!!!!!!  EMPTY!! hahhaa it had drained, because the knob doesn't turn all the way!! so we had to refill it!  so we started late! That's not all.... Guess what color the water was?! no not clear! haha CHOCOLATE!!! it was brown!!! soo dirty!! but whatever, the baptismal water is not to clean you of dirt, its to clean you of sins!  the talks were awesome! my comp and i sang, "when i am baptized" and then i baptized her! it was an amazing feeling to see her face go under the water and then to see her come out smiling! it was such a great experience, i loved every second of it! She got to bare her testimony and wow, power!! she is an amazing women,  it was a great experience that i will never forget!!
And now the sad news.... Elder Cluff and Nicholls are gone!! they are awesome friends and a huge blessings to have started with them herein Samegua! they really are the best and the boh are going to tear it up as District leaders!!! love you guys kick butt!!!
Well today we are playing sports and getting to know the new elders that were transfered here. Oh yeah, we got a new pension and he serves a lot of fruit so it's nice to have something different.  It's great....
