Week 37

Well my peeps i am sorry its been a while!! i have been so busy down here in peru!!! where do i start?  well, 2 weeks back we had a soild last week with fryer!! we had 3 baptisms and a sweet wedding party for two of them!! it was a party! it was sad for me to see fryer leave, but he will kick it in tacna!!! So, now i am with elder sookhoo and we are working hard, getting to know the area and getting to know new people!!! we have been working really hard getting the streets down and helping all the people we can!! its so awesome! its getting kinda cold because it will be winter soon,  but I'm gonna sweat either way! this week we didn't have our baptisms like planned because their mom went out of town and she wants to be there to watch,  so of course we understand! but ya so this week we will be working hard with them and doing the best we can to get them ready! It will work out I'm sure of it!! our relationship with the members is going really good and the people are accepting!!! we did have one set back..... I got super sick.... i have an intestinal infection....  i couldn't sleep friday night at all.  i had the chills super bad and i went to the bathroom like 20 times! the next day i felt like crap, I went to a training for district leaders ( i am the new district leader ) feeling horrible! then i came home and laid down with the chills, just  felt super dead, my head and my stomach hurt... so i went to sleep and woke up sweating like in a pool and under the blankets was like an oven!!! freaking hot! the leaders of the zone came and took my temp and i had like a fever of 101 to 103! I was HOT! haha and so i took meds and tried to sleep and that didn't work.... so sunday came i still felt like crap and really wanted to go to church but i couldn't!!! i was super weak and still had a fever, so i slept and the zone leaders came again and i went to the hospital with ellsworth to get a few of tests done! so my pee is fine, my blood is good, but my intestines are bad..... i have an intestinal infection! so i got a shot to stop the fever and i have a ton of meds to help me out! my stomach still hurts,  but i am getting better little by little!

I will get better and we are getting back to work today so it will be great!!! my comp kept working while i was sick and i am so grateful for that! he's a great missionary! it was a hard sad weekend..... but there is alwasy a reason for everything! 

I was reading in Alma this week,  Alma 17 and its about the story of Ammon and how he saved the flocks for the king! the faithful servants doubted and were scared but ammon took the affliction as an opportunity to show the power of God and push on!! so thats what he did!! i invite you to read that chapter its awesome!! What an example to me, i am taking my hard ships and making the best out of them!

3.  ok so i never asked that before you were Fryer's comp who was his comp and how did he not have one??? just not sure how that worked out that he needed one when you and andrede split

Week 36

(So Elder Wagner only got 15 min today on the computer, so it's short but sweet! He had to leave and go meet and pick up his new comp.  It was hard to not hear any details about his week, but pics were better then nothing! Love and miss that boy!)

its been a sweet week and we worked our butts off! we had 3 baptisms and a wedding too! it was a blast! i didn't get transfered, but fryer​ is going to tacna and i am getting a new greengo from cali! its gonna be soo sweet, we are working hard and we will have 2 more baptisms this saturday!!!  work is great here in the 15!!!

Week 35

(The old zone)

well people, this week has been awesome! elder fryer and i are working super hard and making things work here in 15 De Agosto! the people here are so loving and help us so much! i have to say that this land is prepared by God for this work! we have 5 people that will be baptized this weekend!! we gotta work super hard and visit them every day and help them feel our love even more!! we are super excited to help them make these convenants with God!!  it is soooo exciting!!!! we are working super hard every day and doing all we can to help.   i am so greatful for my comp, he has already taught me a ton of stuff that is going to change my mission!! i am so happy!! the weather is beautiful and i am just so excited to be here and feel the love of the people!!! 

we see little miracles every day and it helps us keep working!! one miricale was on sunday, someone was supposed to make us lunch but no one did, so we were like crap, we will live and just keep working.  But you know what?  God blesses the obidient, so when we were working and someone stopped us and gave us bananas and then another sister gave us a pop and cookies.  The another lady gave us avocados and then i remembered my summer sausage that grandma sent us, so we made super yummy sandwiches!!! our father in heaven is watching over me and helping us out through the loving people here!!! 

the members make us food all the time, mostly lunch, its so fun! i love it! its a walking area! there isn't cars in the mission! our companionship is awesome! we get a long sooooo well and we have a blast all the time!! 

Pday we are going to eat as a zone in a restaurant owned by a white guy from washington!! he lived in bellingham!! its so cool! but ya then we are going to play soccer!!!

1. our house is 3 stories and we live on the second story but we will move to the third soon! 

2.  how many children do your pension have and do they all live there with you?

2. she has two sons that are on a mission, one thats coming home in may!! and then a daughter thats in the house sometimes but works a ton so we don't see her!

Week 34

well my family and friends i have to say the life in arequipa is a whole different world! i love it so much!! the people are so loving, kind and receptive to the message we bring! i love this place sooo much! this week has been a bit slammed and stressfull... i had to come to Arequipa, go back to moquegua and come back to Arequipa all in 3 days! it was full and a lot of traveling!! 

i had changes this week and it is going so great!! i am with elder fryer, he is freaking funny awesome AND SUPER FUN! we work super hard and have great sucess! 

God blesses those that are patient with their afflictions! D&C 24:8, he is always with you! i have been truly blessed to be here in this zone and in the new area 15 De Agosto! it is the best and I have been so blessed in these past few days! i am so happy!! ahhhh i testify that the Lord is watching over us and helping us threw all our hardships and when it looks like there is no way out, we find that "it was all for your experiance" D&C 122:7! you will find in life that there is nothing that we cant do!  Satan has NO power over us, and we always, always, always have the Savior at our side! just keep fighting for the light! you will make it!

 we had the opportunity to watch and listen to our beloved prophet and his servants! i learned that there is a savior who knows and loves me, he wants the best for me and he has given everything for me! i have the ability to be resurrected and live with my family again! there is no better feeling in the world than too know that and have the testimony of its truth! my testimony strengthens every-time i read the book of mormon and learn of the ancient prophets in the bible, i can apply every verse to my life and find counsel in the word of God! i want to invite every one of you to read the Book Of Mormon & the bible, then find your own testimony! i can tell you a million times its true but do you want to hear it from me or from God? i have received my answer, when will you try to get yours? READ IT AND PRAY PEEPS!! 

life is so good here and we are doing awesome!!! i love this place so much and i wouldn't change it for the world! i love my savior and he loves me & YOU!!

1.   How and who is your new comp???  

1.  elder fryer is the best ever!!! I get to see Boyd too, he is in the same ward building! and we go to the same gym, so i see him quiet a bit! 

2.   Did you fly from samegua to arequipa when you left?  you sent a pic that was of the mountains and of the clouds, which made me think that you flew.....  

2. no it was in a bus! haha but we were above the clouds! 

3.  Where are you at????

3.  I am in 15 De Agosto, Manuel Prado, ya it is in arequipa! in the city! i love it so much!! i have a gorgeous view of all the mountains Mt. misty!

4.  DId you get to watch conference this weekend?  i remember last time you had to wait til the next week, so just wasn't sure.

4.  ya conference was amazing! i loved it and learned so much! 

5.  Where did Elder Andrede end up?

6.   what type of things did you do while you were in Arequipa?  

6.  we went to the plaza and some other cites and then the doctor...

7.  How was saying good bye to Samequa??

7.  It was good saying bye I will miss the he people, but ready for a change.

8.  i will miss the bishop the most, he is an awesome man of God!

9.  we are gonna eat with a convert of fryers and then go play mini golf.

10.  we have a tiny room, but i love it!

11.  Do you have a pension?  

11. ya i got a pension and she is the best! i am the 95th missionary she has had! she was pension for birtcher too! she is amazing and her family is awesome! its amazing!!! she treats us like her real kids and we live with them so its even better.

12.  What's your favorite food your pension cooked so far, if u have one?
