Week 50

what a week! geez, getting to know my new area and all the people, is a lot of work, I'm loving it and having a good time with them!!! its been solid!
(Mt Misti in the back ground)

In my studies yesterday i was reading the bible and i found something that i wanted to share with you!  i was reading about the miracles that Jesus did in the book of Matthew, which has helped grow my testimony of the Savior! something that struck me was that the Savior never said, "stand back and watch this;)" or "check out my power, i can save this dude," never once did he do such a thing, he always said "according to thy faith" or always humbly said what His Father in heaven wanted.  Jesus has the power to do all things, but he always leaves it to us! WE have to stand up and walk, open our eyes, or try to forget/forgive. If we do that he will bless us with the strength to walk, the ability to see and with the forgivness that we need! i promise! he wants us to show our faith, to ACT to DO IT!! he knows that, and if we do it with faith he will bless us!! While reading about that this week it helped me, I know that if i want a change i gotta try! don't just sit there! work for it! and you will get it:) i promise as a representative of Jesus Christ he will bless you! don't wait for the  miracles to happen, show your faith and DO it!
it was a great study for sure:)

Week 49

well this week i read a super cool story in the book of mormon! it is found in Helemen 5 verses 20-52.  its about when nephi and lehi went and preached the word of God and where thrown into prison! it wasn't sweet, but the cool part was what happened in prison! the lamanites were going into the prison to take nephi & Lehi out and kill them, but instead nephi and lehi were engulfed in a pilar of fire! but they didn't get burnt!!!! they were totally protected from the fire!  the lamanites were covered in a dark cloud! they got lost and scared! they were told that they needed to repent and if they would, they would be saved! so they did exactly that! they repented and had lots of faith, from that they were engulfed in a pilar of fire too! they were at peace, they were forgiven! then they started to do the right thing and preach the word of God too!  it is an amazing story!! you should all read it!!! i found that when we do the right thing we will be protected in all times and all places!! then the people will change and will start to do the right thing too!! but who needs to be the example? WE DO!!!! you are all amazing!!! keep being awesome and never change! just get better!!:) I love you all sooo much!!

Week 48 curve ball....

Its the bottom of the ninth, with the 2 to 3 and the bases loaded, the batter has 2 strikes and all he can think is "what could he throw?"  Normally they would through a hard fast ball to the inside bottom corner, but this pitcher had something else in mind, a curve ball.  the pitcher wound up and threw a splitting curve, SWING AND A MISS, STRIKE THREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the batter walked off the field with his head down helmet and bat in hand; they lost the biggest game of the season.  His team cried and couldn't believe that he struck out.  Yes sounds like a heart breaker, like that guy will always have that in the back of his mind, but you know what he did? he said "there is always room to improve!" all of us in this life pass thru something that hurts, that stings or we didn't achieve what we practiced for.  that makes it hard to live, i understand, but the true test is what you do with the loss, the pain, the sadness? Do you let it eat away at you or do you keep fighting?!  we gotta keep going, keep fighting!! Put the helmet back on and swing again!! i testify that if you do that the Lord will bless your life immensely.  i have found that in life we have to find the blessings! we have to act!  don't close one eye to the happiness!! you have two eyes to use to see ALL the blessings that each and every one of you have!  there are a ton of blessings that i couldn't see at first, here is a list,
1. the ward and area that i am in
2. my comp elder sookhoo
3. my pension mama jenny
4. the members here
5. the Gospel of Jesus Christ
6. the Atonement
7. my own family
And much much more that would never end! if we open our eyes and look for the blessings and learn from them we will hit that curve ball, out of the park!  i feel really blessed to be a child of God,  to be serving Him in His work and doing the best i can to be His Greatest Disciple! i love everyone of you, and thats why i want you all to know that YOU CAN BE HAPPY in sad times and YOU can do it through the love of our Savior Jesus Christ! trust in him, and go forward always!!!
i love you all
(Fryer and Britcher go home :( and yes I got a hair cut;),

Transfers are today and i am now going to be in the area Independencia of the zone Selva Alegre as a zone leader.  geez... its crazy! my new comp is elder puchoc from lima and he ends his mission this change with me! i haven't met him yet or my new zone but i am super super super excited!!!!!! gosh i cant stop smiling, change is good!!! hahaha,  i will know all about it this week but right know i dont know muuch!  i am gonna miss sookhoo a ton, that guy is the best!! he really has helped me be better and has changed my mission! he, i can say, is a great life long friend! i love that guy a ton! we have made great memories! it has been amazing! but the Lord knows what he needs so i gotta just follow!° and i am gonna make it the best time ever!!
I couldn't fit avert thing into my suitcase so I got rid of things I really didn't need.  I am so blessed, so i gave away sports clothes that I have plenty of.   i have more then I really need.  i have changed to some one that is like whats mine is yours! not like before the misson when i would be like no its mine!! haha i am embaressed of that now for sure! i feel like if i love the people i shouldn't think twice! it really impacted me a lesson that we had about charity and how its the PURE love of Christ, not just a bit of love, its PURE! and so i feel that Pure love and i just want to help every person! i feel a ton better now as a person:)
